















It’s been a tradition of mine to build a different two wheeled mode of transportation each and every spring. Some have been more noteworthy than others. This particular leader 725 went as far as I could take the single speed concept that I have been evolving over the years

Everyone always likes a good underdog story and this is no exception. The intention behind this project was to start with the most unassuming base to build from so that we could show how much potential could be extracted from this compact commuter.

Several different custom finished BBS / Rotiform wheels made their way onto this build as well as the custom finished TTRS big brake kit lurking in the shadows.

A near 10 year labor of love, no portion of this classic coupe was left untouched. A complete color change, full engine and suspension rebuild, as well as a cream and black Alcantara interior retrim, this Porsche inspired project will always be my favorite child.

Door handles from a Porsche 944 Turbo that I carefully polished, and my body guy begrudgingly made functional.

In the quest to find the perfect paint color I reluctantly gave up attempting to use obscure choices from high dollar brands and settled on this ubiquitous metallic hue from a Ford Expedition.

Through the tight knight community that is the VW world I was able to source this interior secondhand from a legend in the scene who has since passed away.

This set of 2 piece RH ZW1 wheels was completely restored and painted using a satin nickel finish. New polished lips with gold hardware complimented the metallic brown paint and gold calipers.
